Taapsee Pannu is currently preparing for her next OTT and opened up about being dropped from a film at the last moment. Though she did not mention the name of the film, Taapsee revealed that she had booked her dates and was all prepared to start working for the film. Surprisingly, she discovered that she was no longer a part of the movie through the media reports.
In a recent interview with radio host Siddharth Kannan, Taapsee said, “It happened to me. I didn’t get ready for the shoot, I just gave my dates, and then I was thrown out.” Later, she also added that the makers of the film apologized later for dropping her, but they were ‘hesitant to reveal the real reasons.” The makers of the film called and met her but didn’t reveal the real reasons for replacing her.
In early 2019, the actress had told a leading daily that she had blocked her dates for the film ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’. However, the producers of the film later told director Mudassar Aziz to ‘take someone else’, and when she tried to confront the producers, she wasn’t given a proper reason. Later, the film starred Bhumi Pednekar, Ananya Panday as the female lead, and Kartik Aaryan as the male lead.

Taapsee Pannu is looking forward to her Netflix mystery thriller film ‘Haseen Dillruba’.The film also stars Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane in pivotal roles. The film is helmed by Vinil Mathew and is slated to steam on July 2, 2021.
